Trany ?

I left my Mark for a week on the driveway, found huge puddle of trany fluid, (I already posted this thread I had to re-register because of that retarded hacker). Im low on trany fluid I know this but I backed up the car today and noticed shards of plastics this is probably the reason im leaken is there any plastic around the connection to the linkage too a trany line or somethin? The plastic shards when I put them together looked like they were in a circular arrangement before they broke off thats why I think it went to a line or somethin IDK, appreciate the feedback

I since posting this put a slight amount of trany fluid, I havent had the time to check for the leak but for some reason my car shifts wierd and rattles the car around 40 mph it did this twice , but then I turned off the OD and then turned it back on OD , It dident shake or rattle since then , so wtf was all that rattling about has this ever happen to you guys? Is this do to a OD malfunction or somethin, never did this till It sat for a week. :feedback

Is the fluid full on the dipstick?


If not you don't have enough fluid in it.

I did exactly what the manual said, drive for about 20 miles, put in park, check fluid on dipstick and it should be in the hot area,mine just made it to the hot mark how high on the dipstick shoud the fluid be should it be more toward the middle of the hot or what,IDk?
