Can u post pics of trim kits here so I can see different kits.. i am more than likely just going to do the middle.. AC VENTS:AC CONTROLS: RADIO...

but i want diff. opinions and pics pls

What's up Bangin'? If you take a look in my photo garage, you will see a pic of what I went for. I just got the SST area and upgraded to a wood shift knob. I thought the whole dash kit would be too much wood IMO. All I need now is the woodgrain steering wheel and I'll be set. Good luck makin' your decision.

for the 00-02 models i think the wood grain dash looks better than the standard black plastic. the plastic just looks too common and cheap like in a ford taurus. as long as you just do the center console and dont go crazy i think the wood grain can look pretty good. @BanginLS - if you end up going with a specific kit, let me know how it works out for you because i'm looking for one too.

as of now, i am going to mix these two kits.. i will get the AC vents, AC controls, TV(i have the double din) and the shift nob...

any thoughts on this?

i dont like the wood grain panel that surrounds the shift knob at all, personally. the brushed aluminum looks classier and doesn't really clash with the wood.

i dont have brushed aluminum.. mine is black plastic around the shift knob..

as far as the woodgrain.. i have a guy that sells it here.. 100 installed for the center and 3 other parts.. 200 for the WHOLE KIT installed.. not too shabby.. and its the good kit.. and its gauranteed for a couple years u know..

i'll get back to u on it.. they have a website.. let me know if u want to check it out

i like what ive done to mine, with it matching the exterior paint. ive posted the pics before, i can again if you want.

i personally dis liked the wood grain very much.

i liked urs.. but my car is black. im not gonna paint my whole interior black.. i need some contrast.. the only other color i have on the exterior is chrome.. andi cant chrome the interior mainly becuase of my steering wheel.. its too hard to chrome.. along with the shift knob..

i got to stick to the wood..

As with all things, it's a matter of personal taste. I really would like the WG in mine, but the carbon fiber is OK. The only complaint I have is the new brushed surfaces in the 03+ Sport is way too easy to scratch up. The previous owner of mine was an old woman that must have worn 20 lbs of jewelry hanging off her right wrist. The area around my shifter is all screwed up. I have been looking for a replacement shifter bezel, but other than buying a new one I am out of luck.

yep, all about taste. im glad theres enough aftermarket stuff out there to suit all our needs ;)

thats true.

I would try a carbon fober look, if available. i think the dark would look good, and go well.

i would have to do the steering wheel and shift knob.. how would i do that?

If you want a custom made steering wheel and shift knob contact American Stitches. They re-did my steering wheel with the carbon fiber inserts like my dash and re-covered the leather. Expect to pay anywhere between $300-$400. They do great work.

thanks for the link.. but i'm gonna stick with the wood..

for 100 im gettin the kit installed.. if i get tired of the wood i will switch it up..
