Afternoon Gents,

Just wanted to again, say thanks for the help during the coolant system rebuild. I however have an issue with misfires. The car was bought as is with misfire on cylinder 2, and 6. I knew what I was getting into.

I pulled the plugs and sure enough there was oil on plug 2. I then proceeded to do the VCG job with feel pro gaskets. During this time I noticed that this job had been done before.

One of the VC bolts were stripped. It just spun freely and never tightened down.

Replaced COPs with OEM COPs, and Denso Plat OE.

Misfire is still there. No DTC codes yet, I say yet because when I first bought it whenever I cleared the code it would usually take roughly 150 miles to get a code.

Any Ideas?

Brand new coils and plugs...

I was leaning towards a pcm. The misfire is definitely more pronounced when cold. It does seem to run better when warmed up

Also good to do a compression test and check the connector on that fuel injector.

How would I go about checking the connection? Do you mean physically checking to see if it is plugged in?
