Changed plugs CoP and plugs yesterday, in the process me and the fellas that helped me out managed to break a hose. Its not the PCV valve hose, I did that last year, but it is made of that same plastic. The hose comes out of the air cleaner outlet pipe, splits and goes into the heads. Managed to repair the hose, but it is extremely brittle, and would like to replace soon. Could only get the number off the top of the sticker on the hose, xw4e-6758-af. Any help would be great.

I don't know the hose number but as a substitute try some regular fuel line instead. you can get the "T" connectors at Lowes or Home Depot, maybe even get a metal one instead of plastic. That stuff the factory puts on these vehicles cracks from all the heat. Make your own with better product. that particular piping can be found at the HomeDepot. It appears to be the same stuff used for rainbird water sprinkler systems to send water. check it out, do it yourself, even brake line hose might work well.

Don't know what information you are looking for. If you have the part number you should be able to find it at the dealership. With that said I know the part you are looking for. The tubing is a hard preformed plastic. The ends of the pipe clip into the top of the valve covers. The real weak part of the tubing is the clips that go into the valve covers. There are four tabs on the clips and if you are not careful removing this from the valve covers the tabs will break and not hold on anymore. I constantly search junk yards for LS parts that I know are going to fail and this is one of the parts that I try to find. They are very difficult to remove unless you take the upper intake manifold off. Every time I see these they are all brittle and the one I purchased new was also surprisingly brittle. My suggestion is that you do not replace it due to cost. If you have repaired it and it works, leave it be or search junkyards for a spare. Good luck!

This is a vacuum or vent piping and is on a V6. Different setup on the
v8's if I remember correctly. I broke one about 9 years ago and it was about $80 or $90 at the dealership back then.

Pictures of what broke work a lot better than superseded part numbers. I wouldn't put much faith in the dealer finding it anyway, my dealer parts guy acted like he never heard of an LS. May also try the Jag dealer, since they were a much larger user of the AJ engine they'd not only be more likely to know what the part is, they'll probably sell it cheaper. I wouldn't be a bit surprised to find out that when the Lincoln dealer is asked to order a part for the LS V8 that they don't buy one from the nearest Jag dealer then sell it to their customer with a hefty markup.

Ford parts guy here. That pipe is part of the PCV system. It's readily available from Ford, price is $26.85. Latest part number is XW4Z-6758-BA.

What about EUROPEAN LS parts? Where can those be located/found/searched? Don't ask me why. It's a secret......(Shut up LSFRANK)

Did the LS ever make it to Europe as a product? I know that was their plan, but I don't think they ever actually sold them there.

I don't believe so. But there were some tail lights and license plate surrounds made for Europe. They look just like the GEN1 2 tone tails except there is the reverse lights in the trunk mounted tail lamp assemblies due to the European plate surround didn't include the reverse lights. I'm looking for the left hand side Euro trunk mounted tail light. I have the right one already.

I have already contacted Ford and Lincoln directly. They provided the contact info for 2 companies that manufacture parts for Ford that are no longer in production or in stock, with no luck.

Huh. I've never seen that license surround. I've only seen the one with the one white and one red lens (intended as a rear fog).

When I went to my parts guys with the numbers for the Euro LS light pictured, he just said "I don't recognize that at all and have no idea where to look beyond a search for that number"

Expected, but still a little disheartening. I also have the single Euro light. I only occasionally look for the other one. I have 2 Gen 2 outers so I'd like to complete the two tone look.

Interesting, must be to take into account their extra long license tags. I'll bet there's an option to turn on the left hand tail light as well, as they (at least in Germany) require that you leave a tail light on when parking on the street at night instead of just depending upon a reflector. At least, that's the way it was when I was over there. They just had a single 194 sized bulb in there. This would mean that the headlight switch would have an extra button or switch on it for this purpose.

Or, (as is the case with my 325i) you just leave the turn signal lever on for left or right turn, depending on which side your are parked on. Key on = flashing turn signal, key off = parking lights on that side only, on.

When I contacted the one company they kept saying it is only marked in description as a reverse light but pictured as the one in the rear surround. Super strange. Maybe there isn't a left side? Possible that the left side would have been one of the JDM two tone tails?

Meanwhile ... Alex could easily makes us some two tone inner lenses that could be glued in.

I was hoping to double up on my reverse lights. The new house Doesn't have lights in the driveway and with my tint I can't back in at night unless I roll my windows down. LOL

Alternately, add a backup camera.

I've thought about it. But I would have to get a new radio. I just put this one in in DEC. I could get a backup camera with a separate monitor but, as we all know, space is at a premium and I just don't see a place that I could put it that would be justifiable.
