Is the true dyno tune usually better, sense they have your car right there? Or will it be pretty close to the LMS or SCT Chips. I've spoken with some people that have recommended this particular shop here in Kansas City. They want $475.00 to do it. I have a PI 3200 stall/99 trans and there seams to be some shifting issues. Lock up points, I'm told. Should that fix it? Hopefully the 4.10's and Trac-Loc will be going in within the month. He said $75.00 to reprogram it once they're in.

Here in Kansas City, There are allot of car enthusiast. We have the Kansas Speedway(Nascar, Nextel Series) Heartland Park Topeka, Kansas(NHRA). Then there are a lot of local tracks. The Midwest has some good racing. I'm not real versed in it, but its big. Our local 1/4 mile track is KCIR.

Just thought I'd promote Kansas City a little bit.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Dyno + wideband will get you the best tune period. There's no kind of generic tune that is a good replacement.

FWIW, my dynotune netted nearly 15HP over the tune on the chip. You can argue the cost-effectiveness, but if you're looking for every available HP, it is the way to go. :)
