Okay so I've spent quite a while trying to figure this out, but no dice.
If I can't find much help here, I'll have to resort to paying $100/hr for electrical diagnosis :(
So my right rear turn signal stopped working a few months ago, and it's causing me huge problems in traffic. (No tickets..yet)
It wouldn't be a fuse or relay (right?) because all the other signals work, along with the break and running bulbs on the same light.

Has anybody had similar issues? If it helps, my advancetrack is ALWAYS telling me my trunk is ajar.
Could it be faulty wiring to the trunk?

Let me know what you think! I need to get this fixed asap.

Cheers,
Quinn

why (or how) is your "advancetrac" telling you anything about the trunk?

Just beeps and says "trunk is ajar"

Why are you calling your message center your AdvanceTrac? They are two very very different things. Do you even have AdvanceTrac?
The rear turn signal is a completely separate bulb and circuit from the brake lights and running lights. There is a switch that detects if the trunk is open or not. Probably it just needs to be adjusted. In any event, it has nothing to do with your turn signal problem.
You need to check/replace the bulb, fuses in the trunk, the bulb socket, and the wiring between the socket and the REM. It could also be the REM, but that is the least likely.

Thanks for clarifying - I've clearly misunderstood the car as I thought the message center was called "advancetrac" since it tells me once in a while to "Check Advancetrac"
I've replaced the bulbs multiple times, as well as the harness for the entire rear light, so it wouldn't be the socket or any of that wiring.
As for the wiring from the REM..I'm not too electrical savy, so would you recommend just paying to have it done professionally?

It does sound like you have done everything you can do to resolve it.
