Hey all, Getting a feel of what automotive programming everyone likes.


As a car enthusiast, I tend to record automotive
related TV shows. I would watch them when I'm not working on the car ,
am asleep or at work. My DVR is usually filled to 100% full with car
related HD programming.

I get alot of flak from my wife for taking up so much room on
our DVR.

What are your 3 favorites car related TV shows?
And what about 3 of the ones you hate?

If its a show about cars then I usually watch it. Anything with an engine really. I like Tank Overhaul and Fighter Overhaul too.
 
Continuing on the American Chopper, the last episode of the season had Cadillac request both companies to make a Caddy theme chopper. OCC said they could kick PJD ass on it and even when the bikes were together OCC tried to act like they had the better bike when they CLEARLY didnt. You could vote online and last time I checked it was 43,000 for PJD vs 1900 votes for OCC. :lol:

That is proving to be a really dramatic victory for PJD.
I can't explain why, but emotionally, I do like his bike much better. A strong argument can be made stating the the OCC bike captured some of the Cadillac design language better, but I don't think it's too passionless translation of it.
 
I have never seen someone b!tch slap there father quite so hard. but paul sr deserved it.

Top Gear when it's not a Repeat or the Stig isn't driving a car like Ariel Atom 8 or something interesting?
American Top Gear Sucked so bad I am shocked they are getting a second season :eek:
Gears with Stacey David cause the guy does some seriously nice work.

Aside from that I have 4 Tivo's with 2 of them being Dual tuner models so I get EVERYTHING car related on TV. Hell I'm watching F1 European practice as I type this from Friday.

The Car Science and Warriors I watch just to make fun of the lack of knowledge of the shows writers :p
 
I think the new season of Top Gear starts in the UK tomorrow.
This is big news for bittorrent users.
 
Whats with this american version of Top Gear now? It's pretty lame compared to the UK one in the past :(

Very lame but half of the reason I think is they have a NASCAR tool as an announcer that knows nothing about cars.

They did a couple of tests that were interesting and funny but nothing at all like the UK show.
 
they are just getting started though.
have you ever seen any of the very early top gear episodes? they werent so great either.
