Today, I saw a truck carrying a brand new. Chevy Caprice PPV. For those of you that don't know, it is the same as the Pontiac G8 that are gone.

This is the first one I have seen. On US-81 just south of the Nebraska/Kansas border going North.

This is the first one I have seen. On US-81 just south of the Nebraska/Kansas border going North.

They actually come standard with a 3.6 Liter V6. But with 300hp it's not too shabby. The 6.0 Liter option should have plenty of grunt though and actually either engine option will outperform the 9C1s of yesteryear. If anything is going to replace the Crown Victoria, I think the Caprice PPV is a good option. The departments will have the option of what engine to equip on what cars.
