ok so i have a 94 mark at my shop for a repaint, got dropped off friday night and as of today i have the whole car sanded down, the rear window is 70 % cut to be taken out for a replacement and the 2 dents the car had are fixed. my partner matt had a guy coming today to drop off valves for his heads from his race car. the guy shows up with his buddy, they do what they had to do, and on the way out the guy says hey matt, you know anyone selling a pick up? matt says, jamie will sell his ( jokingly ) so the guy says where is it, that chevy out there? matt says yeah go look at it, so i'm not paying much attention cuz i was working on that mark, the guy says how much? i thought for a second, do i want to sell it? i yell back $3,200 cash right now, the dude pulls a WAD out of his pocket and says got the title? wtf am i doing i said, am i really gonna do it? well, its gone they gave me $3,200 cash and i signed the title. so now i am driving the 95 mark i bought my wife, i'm putting it on the road tomorrow and already looking for another truck. this is why i sold it, i had no intention, but i bought such a big truck for my kids to have a back seat, but now that i got the lincoln, i am going to buy another truck but only a standard cab long bed, so i can shorten the truck a little, i dont need the back seat anymore, so im on the hunt for the same truck in a standard cab. what a weird weekend it has been lol on top of that i sanded an entire car myself in less than 20 hours. i'm ahead of the game and $3,200 bucks richer right now, i'll probably wait to buy something till after the mark is painted so i can have $4,200 to play with, i'd like to find an 04 or 05 silverado. but you never know what i will buy!! i was actually looking at p71 interceptors tonight but that wont tow a mark very well lol!!

i cant haul a trailer with a vic, trust me i have wanted one for a long time, i found an 02 locally with 88k miles, blue, 1 driver car its clean as hell with a transport cage and strobes still in it for 3700.

yup..........................................DO IT!!! WHY ARE YOU TYPING YOU SHOULD BE BEATING ON HIS DOOR, NOW GO RUN!!!!

Thought you were gonna hold out for a Cordovan C.E. Jamie?

i never liked a car as much as my 98, pete just asked what i was looking at on c-list, i said mark VIII's , he laughed and said are you thinking about one, i said i dont know i just found a 98 blk on blk lsc, he said go for it, i said you think? he said i think that you would be happiest in another one since you liked yours so much, he said why not, if you get sick of it sell it, its only a car. i dont know man lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i really miss my 98 ALOT.

Go for it Jamie! After all, it has all the BELLS AND WHISTLES!:shifty: When I bought my Mark they told me the same thing, It's been over 3 yrs and I still can't find them!:( Where would they be? :D

You should get a used Lincoln Hearst, slap a Mark viii engine in it, with a blower of cause!!

$3200 wont buy you an 04-06 chevy pickup, but it will buy a pretty damn nice mark viii. I say go for it. Its only money.

Jamie always gets the best deals on Marks, and he can fix the number one most expensive and most usually trashed thing on them, the paint!

i am driving the 95 right now, attached plates and all lol but man its so weird driving one again, it feels like i am gonna scrape my ass cheeks on the road! i'm seriously thinking about another 2nd gen black lsc. i'm not making up my mind yet, because i'll have 4200 in another week so i will just not think about anything yet, i dont want to jump into something, i'll keep this updated though, maybe i'll suprise everyone. i'm also looking at a few early 90's mustang coupes, ex FHP cars, hmmmmmm we'll see!!!
