there is no such thing. what they usually mean by 'universal' is that instead of holes they either drill many, many holes (to accomodate as many bolt patterns as possible - think overlaying different bolt patterns and drilling each hole into the same piece) or they cut slots instead of holes to allow turning of the piece to fit multiple bolt patterns.

Neither is ideal and often weaken the piece.

They should be able to tell you the bolt-pattern range that the piece will cover.

Universal 5 bolt wheel one set of holes will fit lets say 5x100 and the other 5 bolt pattern in the wheel will fit a 5x114. The old style slotted wheels are just crap and we won't talk about those.

With all due respect, there are probably at least a half dozen 5-bolt patterns. The 5X4.25 on the LS is the same as typical chibbie. Therefore, there are LOTS of wheels that fit the studs. The question is whether the back space is compatible with the lip on the fender and the mechanical components behind.
