Up and Down

My car at idle will bounce up and down. Like from 500 rpm's to 700 and keeps bouncing back and fourth. Its starting to happen more and more. At times it will smooth out. any Ideas?

The IACV is a nightmare to reach on my '93 Mark VIII. Mine was perfectly good but I replaced it anyway when my transmission was pulled.

I wouldnt know where to find it either, have never looked for it. But give me 20 seconds under the hood and id find it.

If it only does it slightly, then that's fine. It's just you A/C compressor turning on and off, when it's on your rpm's slow down because of the extra drag on the engine.
