I posted last week about the actuator on the back of the pump held in place with a 40 torx, it came today, just unscrew it and change it, you loose 1/2 QT of oil, bleeds itself, just fill the reservoir back up before you start the engine and you will have HIGH fan if your pump and motor are good, these were nice and dry, I checked the wire after unplugging it and it was HOT with the AC on high, so it had to be the actuator and it was, now it has high fan, smooth as that....hope this helps someone else, (first check the plug for 12 volts with ac on high, change actuator, add fluid to reservoir, start car and you should have high fan...)

Thanks for the update,

Quick question how did you go about removing it. Did you go from the top or bottom, also what did you use a swivel adaptor.

Please note that +12V is supplied to the fan actuator all of the time that the key is on, doesn't matter if the PCM is calling for high speed or low speed. It is the ground signal to the actuator that is switched on and off by the PCM to control fan speed.
