Upgrade HID 2002 combo low+high beam xenon

I apologize if this has been discussed I’ve failed to find it.

does anyone have any insight to upgrading 2002 LS 3.9L headlights to OEM HID off 2006. I have the units, header panel but how do you get the low beam xenon to stay on when bright is used. As well as keeping the old side marker and the new one in the headlamp assy. How did you guys wire it up?

Thanks for reply. I've got them somewhat working using the old harness for now. But couldn't get any clarity of how it's done precisely. I want to keep side markers in headlights and the original on the bumper and would be nice if I could get them to stagger blink with the turn signals. I'm gonna dig some more.

Did you use relays like in that black circuit on the link he posted? Because I couldn't see how it worked without labels. It also showed only one diode but I'm sure there should be two, one for each side.
