US banks, companies issue warning after email hack

Doesn't concern me but figured it might have some effect with someone on here. Just don't verify any information online because the hackers could be phishing and it could cost you.

Just make sure you don't give or verify any information such as passwords, credit, debit card numbers. I'm hearing that the hackers are going after Face Book users and trying to get their login information. Right now, I wouldn't verify any kind of information, even if it does look real. If it's your bank or Mortgage lender, go do it in person if you feel like it's really that important.

Just another reason I'm not and have never been affiliated with Face Book because there are around 600 million users now and they changed their policy about giving out your email address or lets say, the terms and conditions have changed and most never read, they just agree. Phone numbers and mailing addresses are being sold. So.. if you get that unwanted call or unwanted mail in your mailbox at home, it's most likely Face Book.
