I am selling my Tbird "Pictured" and would like to get rid of the wheel & tire set seperately. They fit the MarkVIII with no problem "Pictured as well". The setup has less than 2K miles on it...No scratches or damage at all. They are basically NEW & I will throw in the spline lugset, Hubcentric Rings & a full spare set of center caps. New the setup as listed cost $1600+. Price, Wheel and Tire specifics are below.

$1200+freight

18X9.5
Chrome
+32mm offset
5-4.25 bolt pattern
70.80mm hub-bore "Hubcentric Rings come with setup"
Hidden Valves with Remote fill/extract stem.

Tires: GoodYear/Kelly-Fierce HP 245-45-VR18 380AA "Tires are same as stock tire height"...Perfect fit!!

My SC which is also For Sale "$2500" without the wheels & tires.

Ahhhhhhh, so you're the custom wheel shop. Got any slick wheel setups for our cars in 18 inches with about 9 inches width in the front, and 10 inches or greater in the rear that will work without rubbing?

Nevermind. Actually looked at your website and saw the Smoothie setup. Have any other shots of them installed on the car? Do the rears stick out any?

I have several pictures of that setup. My picture host is down. Soon as it is back up I will post them up for ya.

No...There is no rub issues. You have to do the standard rear fender roll for tire rub though. Its as perfect of a fit as a 10" wide wheel is gonna get...Pics to come

Brad

Here is one lil teaser pic for ya. As it is well known the FN10 & the MN12 have very similar needs with regard to wheels specs. No doubt in my mind these will fit a Markviii no problem.

Steve Spatheys' 94SC with 18X8/10 Coddington SmoothieII's built to spec by the custom wheel shop.

245-45-18 fronts & 275-40-18 Rears

He is just using airbag helpers @ 16psi and experiences no rub at all.

Holy crap. That is neat. I thought for a second that you might be using a smaller tire to make it fit well, but I guess not.

You have these wheels in stock I presume?

Those are the 18" set in the SmoothieII and I am currently out of those but can have more built no problem.

I have the JunkYard Dogs in the same setup for 18's and I have the Magnito, JunkYaard Dogs & SmoothieII in the 17" version of the same staggered sets.

The JYD & Magnito wheels have a much more conservative lip on them compared to the SmoothieII though. Because of the curved in spoke design on that wheel the lip is a total MONSTER as in DEEP Dish on the rears.

Yea...No need to be conservative on the tires. THe 275-40-18 is the perfect tire/match for the Mark or Tbird/cougar.

Cheers,

Brad

I love a wild lip. I like a wheel to look like it could excercise 2 hamsters side by side. :D

What's the turnaround time on getting a set of those Smoothies made?

I have had them done up in a quick as 1 week but they always tell me 4-5 weeks turnaround to cover their butts.

I do have the SmoothieII in a 17X8/10 set or can get the 18" set done up for ya. Just lemme know when you wanna pull the trigger..

So what you are saying is the Mark would have to be at stock ride height?

I have 18x9.5 rears and already had to lasso back the parking brake cable; however, the outside of my tire sits inside the wheel well. Seems as if the 18x10's would sit under the well and the car couldn't be lowered.

No Keith...Thats not what I am saying.

Funny as well....None of my 18X9.5 spec. wheels needed the ebrake cable tied up on a mark, on a cougar or a tbird. I don't build or sell stuff that does'nt work.;)

Cheers,

Brad
