Used OEM Struts or New KYB?

Cant wait any longer for some new front struts at 117k miles. Trying to save a buck and found some used OEM ones, complete assembly with spring and all, 48k miles for $35 a piece plus $17 a piece for shipping.

Would one rather have these or a new set from KYB? I think KYB is about $60 a piece new on rockauto, well today both would be $111 from advanced auto shipped free Would my current springs still be ok after being worn a bit?

never buy used shocks and struts but the best one when getting new is OEM. so for now go with kyb but I heard they are like not having shocks at all or was that the Monroe ones.

LS doesn't use struts. They use shocks.
