V6 vs V8 2000-2002 Air Box

Are they the same? I just need the lower 1/2 for my V8. I have my headlight/intake completely fabbed up the way I want it, but need a new lower 1/2 of the airbox since I completely botched my last one for the front grill CAI project.

I know they take the same air filter. If I'm not mistaken the box is the same.

Thanks Gray. I just found out the V6 and V8 use different boxes. Im looking for a used one that someone isnt using anymore.

I may have one. mine's 02 V8.
since I only used the top 1/2 for my CAI mod.
last time I looked around in the garage I couldnt find it.
I hope it didnt get tossed out during my spring cleaning.
I'll look again.

I just found a salvage yard in Alabama that had the complete airbox for $50 shipped to my door. I will have pics some time mid next week of the headlight intake system. So far it looks really awesome so far!!!
