Is it possible to pull vacuum on the coolant system to get rid of air pockets if there are any present in the system?

I wouldn't risk collapsing one of the plastic parts. If the factory bleeding procedure doesn't work for you, then you have some problems that need to be corrected. Even if you could vacuum the air out, it would just come back. In fact, you might just make it worse by sucking more air in. On the other hand, applying a mild vacuum might help you find the problem.

Thanks for the response, I applied a little vacuum on the system thru the degass bottle it held steady vacuum for atleast 25 to thirty minutes.

I also pressurized the system, and it held pressure.

At that point I had a idea I removed the heater bleed screw completely, plugged it a cone shaped adaptor, and used the mity vac as if I was brake bleeding, utilizing the catch container as I applied vacuum it sucked in bubbles to begin with, then the container filled at this point I was up to 25 hg I applied a tad bit more until the container was full enough to see it come up the line a tad bit leading towards the pump.
At this point I released vacuum only after I notice the bubbles that was in the tube bubbled out into the container, so as the system draw in it pulled only coolant back in and not air. also I noticed my coolant level in the degass bottle dropped to the max filled mark. I haven't checked it since I did this which was four this morning but when I leave out in a few I'll check to see where the level in the degass bottle is at.

I think it had just a little bit of air in it cause I forgot to close the clamp at the T split going to the aux pump. I closed it about 3 weeks ago and noticed my heat worked real well but had its moments When idle. Hopefully this clears this up.

Also all plastic parts in the coolant system is less than a year old.
