How do you remove the black plastic valances that run around the car. I want to make a fiberglass copy of them and paint them body colored.

they just screw on.

I removed all the screws, but they wouldn't come off. Am I missing something. The whole bumper wanted to come with them.

depends on the piece - but there are the typical 'push in' plastic pins on the lower parts and then there are actual screws on the inside rim.

IIRC, there are rivets holding the rear valance to the side support structure. You'll have to drill them out if they are holding the valance on.
