Have an extra V1 laying around since I sold the LS. It's a little over a year old and all the software is up to date. Bought it straight from Valentine One. Has the Radar unit, windshield mount, cigarette lighter, cord, visor mount, extra suction cups, extra RJ11 power wire, and original box and manual. Have the original sales receipt showing I paid $425 for it. $399+$26 for processing and handling. Not a scratch on it and it works perfect. Selling it for $350 + shipping. Contact me on here or email me at glanga88@aim.com

If only I didn't have a 600 dollar ticket to pay. I would send ya the dough. How ironic.... :( Good luck though this is a great price on this. For everyone that doesn't know about radar detectors this is the best one you can buy!

Saved me countless times haha. The price is well worth what it saves you in fines and insurance....even a brand new one. I will never go back to a conventional detector.

It's only at $300 so you might be able to get it cheaper than $350 so go bid!! I know all you Mark and LS owners with your heavy feet could use this!

$300 for a V1 bought in 2006? You can buy them brand new from V1 with warranty for $399!

You also dont list your serial number so no one can verify your version the V1 is on.

Yeah I know, I have to put that on there. And look on ebay. They are going for over $350....$370....$346....$355....so yeah $300 is considered a bargain for this.

the V1's look like they are not as available now. When I bought mine, I bought a V1 for $225, a week later I bought one for my wife for $205 both V1.8's

Yeah. Maybe it's the time of year I don't know. But hey...supply and demand.

A lot of people from other countries snatch them up because they have an awesome POP2 and Euro mode. Some guy from the United Arab Emirates inquired about it.

Serial Number 1890730870
V1 Description: Radar circuitry known in-house as V1.8—POP2 with Euro Mode. This is our latest and best performer on both radar and laser.

Upgrade Recommendation: You already have our best.

Well if you still have this at the beginning of next month then I will for sure buy it. But, like I said I got to pay for the speeding ticket first lol. I have a quick question though when you were driving down the interstate how far away would it detect a radar? I have heard they can up to a mile but, I don't know if that bs or not.

I sold it on ebay already. Got $385 for it.

I still have 2 others that I use and yes this radar detector is worth every penny. Any radar detector can pick up over a mile if the conditions are right. It all depends on line of sight. I have picked up radar around corners over hills. Go on Valentine's website and read all of the radar stuff on there. Pretty useful facts. The things that set the V1 apart are the arrows that tell where the radar is and the bogey counter that can easily detect speed traps.

If you want to save a few bucks then buy a version 1.7 off of ebay. The version 1.8 detects POP2 radar (which doesn't hold up in court I've been told) and European band radars. The 1.7 is esentially the same just without those two things. Just my opinion.

Congrats on the sell!! Since they are brand new from V1 for $399. My theory behind people sometimes paying more for things on Ebay is that they end up selling something and having the money in their PayPal account to dispose of so they dont care as much on paying more for items. (I do it myself :))

Thanks. I think it's a lot of people from Europe and the Middle East. The ones with tons of disposable income. They mostly asked if it was version 1.8 which has Euro mode. Valentine One Research doesn't ship to Europe or the Middle East though. So I think a few people buy up new ones from Valentine Research and resell them at profit to the Middle Easterners (Just my Theory.) I didn't respond to a lot of the questions from them because I didn't want to deal with the hassle of being paid and shipping to a foreign address even if I could've maid a few $ more. The guy who won it is from New Hampshire.
