they charge a lot cause it take a lot of time...
there has been a couple of good VCG write ups that i have seen done, videos are great, but if you cant follow a write up, then you probably shouldn't be wrenching yourself
as long as you can follow directions and know the box end from the open end of a wrench, its something that most people could handle if they took their time.
