im thinking it might be cool to have new valves, just to make sure im ruinnig tip top. On a scale of 1-10, how hard is it to swap valves...do i have to take off the head? if i do...forget about it.

yes the heads must come off.

If changing your oil is one, and complete rebuild is 10, then its an 8.5.
