I keep hearing these ads for Valvoline Next Gen Oil. They it's %50 recycled oil. Anyone use this or hear of it, is it cheaper?

I've heard of it, it's supposed to be a decent product, but haven't seen any price advantage to the stuff.

Not sure if i really want to use recycled oil.

Autzone has it, and are promoting it. It's definately not cheaper. Actually just as expensive as synthetic.

Seeing this made me look at something that I had no clue of. I mean, I know it's not a good thing to take it to the back of your yard and pour it down a hole or over the fence but didn't know these facts.

Illegally disposed of oil can pollute the groundwater with contaminants such as lead, magnesium, copper, zinc, chromium, arsenic, chlorides, cadmium and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs).

One quart of oil can pollute 250,000 gallons of drinking water.
Used oil from a single oil change can ruin a million Gallons of fresh water , a one year’s supply for 50 people.

One Quart of Used Motor Oil will pollute up to 40,730 Square Feet of Soil!
