i know its pretty easy to get a kit to get verticl doors on the front...

but i want to get vertical doors for the back doors too, but Suicide, meaning they open the other way..

So my question is does any body know how this is doen.. vertical doors in the back opening the oppossite way( suicide vertical doors) in the back...

theres a guy here in stl. that has the front doors lambo'd and the rear doors suicided. i was thinking about doing it to the rears, but too pricy. you looking at about 6k to doo all that

it can be done...

you can have it done , but you are looking into a full custom hinge, they don't make anything like for our application if even at all. The way a sucide door works is it pops out then swings out on a hinge. In order to it properly you have to reenforce the whole door because the rear of the door isn't strong enough to hold all the wieght. Then you have to get into the mechanics of the hinge with pushrod(shock absorber) that is strong enough to hold the door up itself. The normal lambo hinge is 6-10in long and you just don't have any surface on the rear door jam to mount something like that.
That's probably the reason you haven't seen it done. I have researched the rear sucide door idea alot and I can't find a cost effective way to do it.

Don't forget about rerouting all the electrical connections as well, in order to keep your door controls working.

i know the evo doors are 800 bucks for the front...
but in no way am i gonna do the front and leave the back normal... its just not right to do it like that.
At this point... i want it done right. I've only seen what im talking about on a few cars.. That escalade... ill find the pic to make sure you guys know whta im talking about

how are you even supposed to fit into that backseat?? i mean ima little dude and even i would have trouble squeezin into that

thats because they are not open all the way. they go 90 degrees

o ight... its hott then, i like it haha but i still dont see it happenin to an LS... if you do that to your LS i will bow down... :gr_hail:

it takes a lot of work to be done like that. since the ls' rear door has the wheel well as a part of the door they have to chop a part off to make the hinge fit there flat.

Like I was saying there is nowhere to mount the hinge. The ext has a long rear fender then the wheel well. The LS's wheel well is right there where you need to mount the hinge, Your looking at $$$$$ out the a$$ and I doubt it is possible due to no mounting surface. But if you get it done it should look good.
