Video of LSE vs Dis-Custang

I noticed it was an older mustang, was it a V6 or V8? From the video you killed him, but it doesnt show his launch. I am guessing his RT was pretty crappy. Nonetheless 14.3 is a pretty good run. Even though it feels as though i could get out and run faster than my V6 LS i'd love to see what it would run. If only everyone would put a video where there mouth is we would see some reality to peoples claims. I wasted precious time of my life last night reading all three pages of an earlier post regarding a MarkVIII that supposedly ran low 13's. After reading it all the way thru the thread was locked. Bunch of crap :)
 
I was talking to the guy in the pits before the run, it is a 98' V8 w/ exhaust 5spd and 65,000 miles, he said his best time ever was 14.5. they didnt give me the jump. that was the 2nd time I beat him that day he ran a 14.5 to my 14.2... I posted that video in particular because the announcers comment was funny.

We were both lined up at the tree, they cant give you car lengths. They can give you a head start which they didnt but we were lined up even, it was test and tune day. Just the angle of the camera is why you cant see him. if you listen to the announcer he says the stang ran a 15.4
 
Nice. Nice time for an LS. Like mentioned before, 96-98 Mustangs are dirt slow though but that's pretty sweet that an LS took it.
