I'm installing a video converter in my 2005 Navigator. I will be able to watch video's on my navigation screen. I am trying to find a way to get a video out from the factory overhead DVD player. Can anyone help?

Yep.. Here you go.

Jump or tie together the following pins for the headphones to still work.

Pin 7 red to pin 5 white
Pin 17 white to pin 15 green
Pin 8 orange to pin 6 red
Pin 18 pink to pin 16 black
this is on the DVD plug at the DVD player in the rear on the plug side not the DVD player itself. Also if you remove the player from its plastic housing its possible to solder into the rear of the RCA video input at the circuit board they are attached to. Remove the four screws to detach the board you will see a plug coming off it that has 6 wires-5 white 1 blue, the blue is the neg video feed and the white directly above it is the positive. Tap the positive and negative of the RCAs that run from the HU rear monitor output into those wires and you'll have a seamless install. I also placed a rocker switch to break the positive lead into the unit to kill the video input to the rear to still be able to use the front DVD a/v inputs.

I now have audio through the truck and headphones using the rear DVD as a source and audio through the truck only when using the front DVD as the source, but both operate independently as far as video goes, basically, i have to independent DVD players and the ability to tie the rear monitor into the front and run the same video on both. Next ill install two PAC SWI units to retain both rear volume track controls and the steering wheel controls. I almost paid 400+ for this just a matter of poking and prodding since no one else knew how to help.
