I'm looking to buy '96 LSC or maybe a '98 LSC. I'm wanting black on black, moonroof, blah, blah, blah, all of it. I would rather have the '96, but '98 would do to. Must be a LSC. I may also be interested in a pearl white with white or gray interior. I'm in northcentral Iowa, and I'm not afraid to drive a ways to get one. I have cash in hand! Let me know what you have...

LOL

Favorite dirty joke :D
Take a n00b to the pits, wait for the pros to fire up the top fuel cars.
Push n00b up to the front of the crowd and wait for top fuel car to run for a while.
Slowly sneak back.... watch n00b get a face full of nitro when engine is shut off and nitro fills the air,  :D :D

Is the effect like that of 'tear gas'?

Couple years back, I was in the pits of some top fuel dragsters at Santa Pod, England. After a few mins, my eyes were tearing up! (ears were already shot - Lol)

Yep if you get a face full of it you will know it.
The top fuel guys will clear the cylinders and if you get a face full...its funny as hell to see.
Also watch the crowd when they crew jabs the throttle... every one jumps 3 feet in the air.

I'm the guy standing at the ropes, tears streaming down his face which a huge HELL YEA grin on my face.. picking pieces of RTV that are blown out of the headers tubes off my shirt.

Once you stand, inside a yellow cloud of unburnt nitro.."you change".

I will say it's funny watching the yellow cloud drift thru the pits and the people gasping and trying to get out of the cloud.

Did I mention that I LOVE nitro?

also love watching the poltergiests that surround the rear wings as they squeeze the water out of the air on the top end.

watching them come at you from the top end.. is...amazing.

Love when they start em up on Alcohol.. RUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM then it picks up "the pill" and begins to CACKLE CRAKACRACKACRACKA!

mmmmm nitro!

Damn it guys! It's snowing here, and you have to talk like that!!!!

I sit in the car when we ran it on alky and the driver sets the timing. Good stuff! One time when we race at Cordova, I watched as these two 12ish year old boys run there asses off to the 'big car' that just fired up in it's pit, I think it was Zizzo. About 30 seconds later, those two where stumbling away from the fueler's pit, yelling and screaming, tears rollin down there faces, snot flowin out of there noses! Funniest thing I've ever seen!

Enjoy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z3JuK5I4ZFA

I have a base model that I'm using as a winter car. I love it! I just want the better LSC as a baseline for my dream build!

Justin: You might be interested in my completely stock dark green w/ yellow pin stripe '98 LSC. 122K miles lots of TLC, always garaged, front end redone, drilled rotors, ceramic brake pads, air ride removed and now has coils, K&N filters, synthetic oil always, new Pioneer radio w/ new speakers and small sub woofer in place, excellent condition with thick sheep skin seat covers on front seats. The interior is tan and in great shape. It has all LSC options except phone and heated seats. Everything works and I am very proud of it and I think you might like it! If interested let me know and we can communicate further. Best Regards, Cliff

While i do prefer black :D, green is not "ack"

is it reallly that hard to find an LSC? They're all over here. I've bought 3 for $500 or less. Rich is about to get a black/black 96lsc for $500 (he doesn't know it yet):D. Here's a couple more i found during a recent search:

Ed in glen burnie, MD had one for sale around $5000 with 79k miles. http://baltimore.craigslist.org/cto/1530174362.html put an ad on CL and let them come to you. It works.

I like the green, but not the tan. For this project, I'm looking for black on black. I currently drive a base '96 black on black, so if I found my dream '96 LSC, I would already have a parts car.

I'm in Iowa, I want only a '96 LSC of a certain color, and I want most or all of the options. So, that's three marks against me.

96 lsc for sale

To the person in Iowa looking for a 96 black on black lsc. I have 1 that I would sell. It is my daily driver and currently has 104,000 miles on it. It is loaded with every option. My name is Roger. Call me at 816-872-4376. I live in the K.c. area

Red isn't that bad. If I had to, I'd buy a red one. But tan interior, that's a little to far for me. I can't do tan.

It`s not the tan part that bugs me, It`s the red. I don`t like the way it looks on a sunny day, looks great at night though.
