Original black LSC Light? Careful of your choice of words. :p I believe I can come up with one for you. I have to check my usual places this weekend.
 
i would appreciate it. trying to find a real black one, not one with painted trim.. i appreciate you trying eaither way! you are the man!!
 
the black trim is painted from the factory! i could take any color neon and paint it black and you wouldnt know it. all the lsc neons are painted, the trim didnt come molded in black metal!
 
no i understand that, its just they never seem as nice when they are painted black over another color, you can always see eaither overspray or the old color in the creveses, i have OCD when it comes to stuff like that and it would drive me crazy!! im too finatical sometimes...
 
i paint whole cars, that neon could be done blind folded, drunk, with one arm amputated.
 
i guess for the painted ones, but not the base model neons, i used to work at a aftermarket body parts supplier (keystone), and we also sold paint supplies, every bodyshop i went into told me you can never succesfully paint chrome, plastic or metal. it will eventually flake off.. i used to try and find out from them how to paint chrome trime on cars ive had before, no matter how you prep it, nothing permanently sticks to chrome..
 
i scuff chrome with steel wool and prime with etching primer, paint will eventually flake off paint the same as it will flake off chrome so its a lose lose battle i guess!
