Been looking everywhere to no avail. If anyone has these or knows someone whom does, let me know. Shipping to 33615.

You can try painting it. Get a spare set from a junkyard if you're worried about messing yours up.

Sand with 400 grit.

Rustoleum Adhesion promoter. 3 coats, 3 minutes apart. Wait 3 minutes.

Rustoleum Black Gloss Enamel (the painter's touch or perfect match or whatever in the smaller can). 3 Coats, 10 minutes apart. Wait 10 minutes.

Rustoleum Clear Gloss enamel. 3 coats. 10 minutes apart. Wait 12 hours.

Install.

It doesn't have to be Rustoleum, but I find that matching brand keeps things peachy. Standard gloss black enamel looked like a dark purple/brown compared to the factory paint. I've driven a couple thousand miles so far (and even had rockspray chip my windshield) with no chips yet in the grille chrome/ forehead tiara. I also painted the grille teeth/baleen/krill filter because it had faded a bit, but that I just used sandpaper, black plastic primer/base 2n1, and gloss. It's probably chipping, but you can't tell.

I plan on doing the trunk chrome when its over 50 degrees again. This winter hit hard and fast (at least in the north east)

I probably should have done lighter coats though. It has some orange peel. Being 40 degrees at the time probably also played a factor.

I'm trying to be lazy. I have a couple ther projects in the beginning stages and don't want to add anything that isn't R&R at this point.

I know the feeling. I have several open projects right now as well. This winter came in fast up here with like a two-week transition from 55 degree Fall days to 15 degree winter days and has really put a damper on how much I can work on the car.

But I see you're in Florida. I guess now is the best time to paint, for you, since the humidity is probably finally just within the upper limits of spraypaint lol

Got my rear ebony surround this weekend and put it on yesterday! WOOHOO! Didn't have to touch any paint. :dancefool Now I just need to locate and purchase the ebony grille.

Anyone know of a good or close match to the cashmere tricoat paint color? I'd love to paint mine to match as well. Love that look.

hahaha, good luck getting a close match to tri color..., even the exact same paint color won't be a perfect match... and I wouldn't even try any color other than the exact same paint.

Yeah, that's basically what I've read everywhere else as well. I was hoping to find something close in a rattle can. I know it will be up against the existing paint but at the same time both chrome trim rings are small. I plan on at least looking for a close match and see what happens. Not in a rush since the weather sucks, plus have plenty on the honey do list inside the ole homestead.

Well, I'm no longer looking for the grille anymore. I just snatched one on ebay. The ebony Mclaren grille that I've been stalking for the last week. WOOHOO!

Good score!! I've always liked that grille! Would've been cool if the McLaren LS had made it into full production!

wow nice find, those are getting about as hard to find as every other LS part!

Yeah, it stayed at a steady price until the last day. Where there was 1 bid that brought the price up a few dollars. Then I waited til the last 9 seconds and pounced on it with my best offer. I was sweating the whole time. LOL

Well. He is finally here. But one of the posts was damaged In shipping. I'm told that I can use one of the posts from the OEM grille. :(

I'll see if one of the OEM ones fit. If not. I will just epoxy the fvck out of it. I hate spending tons of money on a toy and it gets broken.

That doesn't look right...... There should be a stud there.....

Looks like a slide-in nylon bolt. Izzy just take a good one to the hardware store and match it. Or at least find out the bolt size there and then you can find it on eBay.
