WARNING:Poor Customer Service

I ordered an amp from www.acaraudio.com on Aug 14th. I JUST got an email today informing me that the amp was JUST shipped today. WTF???? I call that EXTREMELY PISS POOR Customer Service.

I would NOT recommend ordering ANYTHING from this site, actually I would avoid it at all chances. I know I will NOT be ordering from there EVER again.

I just figured I would voice my opinion, and vent my feelings (within the rules of course....how I REALLY feel I can not voice.......too many of :q :q :q's if I said how I really feel........LOL). Just to let ya'all know.
 
Buy.com or buyit.com is also like that. Don't you hate that sh!t! I just go to crutchfield.com. Im tired of trying to get a better deal. I just want what I paid for!

I will not order from crutchfield. I know they have changed, but years ago they had prolly the WORST CUSStomer service out there, AND, their products were not all that.

What I mean about that is they would sell stuff that did not pass a manufacturers 100 point quality check system. Not that there was really anything wrong with the product, it was more like a lil extra solder slag on a circuit board that did not pass a companies quality check.....or sumfin on those lines....did not hurt performance....but did not pass their quality check. The company would sell it to crutchfield and then crutchfield would sell it at almost the same (if not more) than what you could get it at a local stereo shop. THEN, when something went wrong with the unit you bought (NO matter what it was, or what manufacturer it was) they would not honor any kind of warranty, and tell you that you had to take it up with the manufacturer. You would contact the manufacturer, and they would find out that you purchased it from crutchfield, and they would not fix it for you either.....unless YOU paid for it.

I would say that is pretty bad cusstomer service. Not that I had that problem (NEVER bought from crutchfield), but I have taken in trade units that were purchased from crutchfield.

Had to give my $.02.....

I have used them as well....and have NEVER had a problem with them.....they are really good, and IF there is a problem, they fix it RIGHT away. NO waiting for your stuff, the stuff is shipped like the next day and you usually get it within 5 business days.

I have used CBRstereo.com as well. They have excellent customer service as well, and you get your stuff in a timely manner.

I have use quite a few online car stereo places on the net, and so far the only place I have had any REAL problem with, is acaraudio.com. I mean, there have been slow shipping (WAY in the beginning), but nothing like this. It will be 18 days (IF it shows up on the first of Sept.....like UPS says it will) from the time I ordered it to the time I get it. I call that PISS POOR. They take your money RIGHT away....right???? If they were not going to ship the thing within a timely manner (timely IMHO = within 3 business days....and 3 business days is REALLY pushing it) then they should not take your money UNTIL they plan on shipping the damn thing. Now, IF it was out of stock or sumfin like that, they should email you and let you know (or inform you of such on their site BEFORE you order the damn thing) that way you can go somewhere else to possibly order what it is that you want.

If I would have known that it was going to take THIS freakin long, I would have just went down the street and paid more for the same thing......to save time.

I'm with you! :I BTW, I have had wonderful service from etronics.com also. Purchased our Sony home theater system from them. :wink:

I have ordered everything from home audio to car audio. Never had to send back one of my units. Maybe its just becoz its Sony. They are just that good. My list for home. Bought from crutchfield. Reciever, five disc cd, DVD, and VCR. For ythe car, Two head units, two amps, four subs, one ten disc, one six disc, and havnt bought any speakers yet! Theres more, all the little crap!

If you want true customer service give your buisness to a local, storefront buisness with a good reputation. Why pay for shipping when you can spend as much to drive to a better (end) product? :D
