Warranty???

I HAVE A 02 LSE V8 AND MY WARRANTY IS UP THIS MONTH.
DO YOU GUYS RECOMMEND EXTENDING THE WARRANTY OR NOT.
SO FAR I GOT 39K MILES AND HAVN'T HAD ANY BIG ISSUES WITH THE CAR.
I GOTTA QUOTE FROM ONE COMPANY $1700 FOR 3 YEARS AND UP TO 100K MILES. IS IT WORTH IT? IF SO WHERE WOULD I GET THE BEST DEAL..

your best bet would to extend it thru Ford .If not there are many aftermarket co.s out there,If you do go with an aftermarket check with your dealer to see if they honor it before you purchase it!!!

I was'nt yelling just wanted to get an opinion.
I have to check with the local dealer, I think they'll ask alot more than $1700
The company I spoke to said I can go to any dealer and they will pay for all repairs on their company credit card. But the dealer has to call them before any repairs are done.

I will still be a little scared of that deal I would look over the contract very carefully and see what it covers. Sometimes they a/c, but will over cover the compressor and not the dccv or any of the other parts that go out.

That's around what I paid for a 100K warranty through the dealer. You can negotaite hard on the dealer's cost, since I've heard that they have a ton of margin in those warranties.

go with dealers -- you dont want that eavery time when you go to the dealer and have to call them -- thats sounds guffy to me just go to ford they have many different options for you to choose from.

I wouldn't even consider an extended warranty from anyone but Ford. I've dealt with a few back when my mom owned a Ford dealership. Most of them are nothing but scam artists in my opinion. Seriously. They look for every excuse they can to deny the claim. Plus, a lot of dealers don't want to deal with them. That makes it useless to you. Get the Ford...and it's good anywhere in the country with any FOMOCO dealer.
