I think my window washer motor finally quit. I've had to replace the fuse twice since I bought the car 3.5 yrs ago. Now no squirt and the fuse is OK. I've searched the forum and can't find anything on this topic. I've heard that it is a PITA. Any info appreciated!!

The washer motor is buried under the engine. Let the dealer take care of it.

Mine's is doing the same thing....where is the fuse? I don't have a manual for my 00 so any help would be appreciated.

I was looking up past warranty claims on my car and it was in the shop several times for inop. washer fluid. It ended up being clogged nozzels/tubes both times. Its worth a shot..........

For this, the '01 manual should suffice. You can find it in PDF form in the tech section, pinned to the top of this forum.

FWIW, the washer fluid motor is located on the bottom of the washer tank... front of the car, lower right side. It is accessible from below the car, BUT you can't replace just the motor. You have to buy the whole resevoir which includes the motor.

Thanks for the feedback. It's going to be pushing 50s on Monday, so I might look deeper at this (I'll double-check for plugged nozzels / lines first). I take it that R&R of the tank is a PITA?

FWIW, the washer pump fuse on my '00 is #2 (10A) in the fuse box on the front pass side under the hood.
