Watched a Lexus explode today

Well I'm sitting at a light looking for my opening to turn right when all of a sudden a newish Lexus ES300 headlamps shoot off like they where fired from a cannon, the bumper splits in two, the hood bulges, sparks start coming from underneath and white smoke/steam comes pouring out the front. I can only guess the radiator exploded but still dam. Between that and all the three timing belts in two years my dads 94 GS300 went through I'm really glad I got the LS instead of the GS I was looking at.

Unfortunately, my wife's coworker was considering a Lincoln and bought a Acura instead because her husband got on the internet and saw all the problems people have complained about with Lincoln. Damn shame. I am trying to find out about the details.

I have seen a 98-03 GS on fire twice on the freeway and I also saw one in the junkyard that had been on fire. I think those cars have some kind of problem.

WOW!! Are you kidding me? That's a lot of damage for a radiator!! Are you sure the driver's last name didn't end in a vowel??

HAAAA... the whole car would have blown up tho, not just the radiator and hood

I'm just guessing it was the radiator I can't think of anything elise that could cause that much damge to the verry front of the car. I really wish I had the time to pull over and check it out.
