water leak?

Yeah Im having problems with my baby! hahaha

k so.. Ever since ive gotten my car theres been a leak coming from my sunroof down the arms of my car (or at least thats what someone else posted on here awhile ago regarding the panels between the door and windshield having water marks on them. Something about a loose hose? idk ha!) But theres also a leak down by my foot (the left one that sits up on the foot rest) and the leak has gotten so bad that its actually starting to fill the lower pocket by the pedals in my door? Like to FULL. And I know its form the rain cause thats the only time it does it but I was just wondering why and what exactly is leaking? It actually started down by my feet around last December when I had my thermostat housing replaced and just recently I had it replaced again and now the flow is more noticeable (my door never filled with water like its been lately.) Any help would be greatly appreciated

Since you mentioned thermo, is it water or coolant?

Sounds like the sunroof drain is clogged..

I believe its water cause it only happens when it rains ha. And I know my sunroof is leaking cause its on the panel between my doors and windshield. It can really run all the way down towards by my feet? How is this fixed???! hahaha thank you thank you

Uhh.. I think you need to drop the corner on the headliner and 'unclog' the hose.. But it runs on the Pass side IIRC.. Do you hear anything while going down the road? Like maybe door seal

Hear anything like what.. specifically please? Nothing out of the ordinary I dont think but then again Ive had this problem since Ive basically had the car with my panels getting wet during the rain so i couldnt even tell you if what I thought was normal is. haha. I don't know of any drains over there unless 2nd Gen is different and has 2 moon drains.. Which would be dumb anyways..

Could possibly be a window seal also

it's the sunroof drain. the water is overflowing and draining down the A-pillar (arm) and going down the left side of the dashboard and pooling there. i had the same problem and the hose was loose.

There are four drain hoses for the moonroof, one at each corner, front and rear. There's a connection point (where two hoses splice together) at each corner, and they sometimes pull loose.

Good to know.. I've only seen pics of the pass side so I thought that was the only one..

+1 Same thing happened to me. Water went down the pillar then down the side of the dash and ended up by the door speaker and filling up the little envelope holder thing on the door.
