Well guys I more formally introduced myself at SVTP and one of the guys there (Kylecm85) told me to come check you guys out!

Here is my into thread there, I got a little text heavy and don't want to re-format or re-type it all out haha:

Also If anyone has experience with American Air Suspensions, feedback on their products would be great.
I'm currently having trouble deciding between the KYB strut kit http://www.americanairsuspension.com...k8klwcvsks.htm

Or the same kit with monroes http://www.americanairsuspension.com...8mk8cvlsks.htm

Thanks in advance,

Jacob.

Well the suspension parts might have to hold off, diagnosed rod knock on cylinder #2, trying to source a short or long block around $500. If you guys have any leads or even a spare motor layin' around I'd Love to know! I'm in Northern Idaho, Postal code 83814 for shipping estimates!

Sucks about your rod knock but that means you will have an extra block to 'get in shape' for when you decide to upgrade. Welcome to LVC!

Busy day, but got some time to get this block into the garage and get some pictures!

350 bux, came wit an oil pan, 2v mustang phenolic intake, flex plate, oil pump and a 2v riming cover

I'd say it's a good deal

is that an iron block? definitely not an aluminium teksid block. and i don't think its a windsor aluminium block either.

well now, this should be interesting. not the path i would have taken, but that's not to say that's the only way.

is that a 6 or 8 bolt crank?

I should probably make a project thread about now, going to pick up a longblock with 4r70w and ECU from a 96 t-bird tomorrow he said they are both running and in excellent condition, 250 smackeroos for both!

Got an X-pipe ordered in since they seem to be the consensus for more power. I'm going to be looking for some glass-packs, I was thinking Cherry bombs, I want a low "thunder" not too high pitch, But I read somewhere that X-pipes tend to have a higher noise than an h-pipe just based on design. Any input would be appreciated! Thanks in advance guys.

Definitely start a progress thread over in the Mark VIII forum, would love to see ware this goes and would like to see more pictures of the car. Welcome!!!

Here is a vid of my Mark VIII with X pipe and Flowmasters. Sorry about the 'pop pop', I must have had the camera too close to the exhaust. I bought the car like this and most often I am happy with the sound. Others like the sound as well but the one drawback is at certain speeds/rpms, the sound in the cabin is a little too loud for me. I suppose I am getting old.
