If we don't voice our opinion we will end up like Europe.
The damn econazis just won't be happy until everyone is driving a quite little Prius or Hyundia econobox around.
Honestly there is no logical motivation. It's always some bs about cracking down on street racing, gang activity, juvenile delinquency or to be 'green'. In reality it's a bunch of old people who don't like loud cars/music and people who don't like originality. They just want everyone to conform, don't ask questions and keep buying the latest smartphone.I do not agree with this law proposal but I do have a question, what is the motivation behind this law? I know some others have posted that some areas are banning those cars with the big rims...is this geared towards that? I can't see the automotive industry rolling over on this one...there has to be some car enthusiasts in that legislative body.

I just heard a story about this on the radio--according to Seth Fletcher, senior editor at Popular Science, the mining of lithium is an "environmentally benign" process.the strip mining for the lithium batteries is about the least "green" thing any car maker can do to the environment.
now why cant i put a quite aftermarket exhaust on my car, but harleys come with exhaust that is loud as hell
