E-mail I received at work today form our IT Czar.

He leans a little to the right :)
By now you are well aware of the Wikileaks fiasco. If not, you need to
pay attention more closely. That being said, the latest chapter in this
saga of progressive nonsense has given rise to a self proclaimed
"hacktivist" group that is launching denial of service (DDoS) attacks
against web sites that have divested an association with Wikileaks
including PayPal and Amazon. They have declared the Internet a "war
ground, the people vs. the government." Welcome to the electronic
predator drone.

DDoS attacks are designed to flood a web site with numerous false http
and https requests such that the web servers are overwhelmed by the
traffic and shut down. The problem is with web site mirroring and
multiple DNS entries for a site. It is possible that these DDoS attacks
may find their way to an unintended target. The hacktivists are well
aware of this problem and don't care, good little weenie progressive
morons that they are. Suffer the many to inconvenience the few, kind of
like Obamacare. But I digress...

Until such time as this Wikileaks nonsense returns to the bowels of the
Internet where it belongs, expect web services to be unpredictably slow
or unavailable depending on the affiliation and/or DNS number of a web
site you may wish to access. This is not the fault of either service
provider at work or at home. It is the fault of a bunch of no life left
wing morons enjoying 126 weeks of unemployment or more, and God willing
and an educated electorate NEXT TIME, this kind of nonsense ends in 2012.
