whenever it rains hard, the factory stereo in my 2001 LS decides it wants to mute on its own..the last time, it even switched back from disk to radio on its own. the steering wheel controls and the stereo controls work fine to switch it back, but it goes back to mute in a few seconds. A few hours after the rain stops or after it has been pulled in the garage, it is fine until the next heavy rain..nothing seems loose and i cant find any place where moisture could be getting in. Does anyone have experience with this problem in any lincoln or ford?..where and what should i be looking for?
