Hey all,

im a high schooler. and i have a 1995 lincoln Mk Viii. when i bough the car (in june 2010 60k miles), it needed catch up on matinance and needed a whole need brake system from lines to pads calipers and rotors. it took me a month to do all the work myself. shes Gold metalic (ill post up the paint code) with a tan interior. 10 disc in the trunk, moon roof, 10 spoke painted wheels, all the options you could get on a Mk Viii (what little there where.) JBL audio

I need a new radio, or mine to be fixed. radio works. but makes a HI pitch scream. and tape player is broken.

Things done to car,

calipers
Rotors
pads
brake line
new 10 disc (but that one broke need another)
Spark plugs
Spark plug wires.

And got to do all the stuff for 60,000 miles

this is my Third car. first car that i can drive

sweet ride dude...my high school ride was a 74 Olds 442...should have kept that car...my suggestion to you is to never part company with this ride.

Your initial post will be the first and last time you will refer to your Mark as "the car" EVER! She is a lovely find!!! only 60, you lucky pup you!

As the guys said above, there are smarties, but search will usually help you out and there is always chat on wednesday night (just click on chat around 8 or 9pm)

and your "painted wheels" are on backwards...dosent going everywhere in reverse bother you!? lol j/k!

one more thing, why is that jackstand under the bumper??

AH! it looks like the jack stand is under the car. but its actually next to the car.

^ sorry lol, i mean to say her. well my dad named her for me. lol, "snot rocket" but im trying to think of another name

60k miles, its debi, you have to learn her language. 60k is low millage anymore, hell i got 115k more than you and there are members with way past that

and yes they are backwards the spokes should angle backwards (and if you look inside they will say RH and LH

lol the way i remember what way they go is picture the car having so much "powa" that it twisted the spokes then you launch

yea, i looked and saw the RH mark on a wheel on the Left hand side. what got me was. that we had all the wheels off at one time. and that we put the wheels on with out have a LH and RH on one side amazes me. but on a day when i have more time ill switch them.
