Obama - could not name a single White Sox player after claiming he was a big fan.

Also called it 'Kaminsky Park' not Comiskey Park.

Foss, talk with anyone born in New England, and you will see they pronounce it "Ka" minskey.
I don't think the people in New England ever heard of the letter "O".
When I am on the phone too my friends in Boston, they usually call me "Barb".
As for Obama, I am so dammed sick of seeing his ugly puss on Tv, and hearing the crap coming out of his mouth, I change chanels when ever he is on.
Last night on Hannity, he showed a clip where some woman at a town hall meeting asked him a direct question, and after a seventeen minute answer, he never did answer her question.
I did not watch it for those seventeen minutes, but usually 5 seconds of him is about all I can stand.
Bob.

He was born in Hawaii, raised in Indonesia and Hawaii.
And he began his career in Chicago.

Other then his time at Harvard, I'm not really seeing how that's relevant.

Calabrio, I didn't mean to imply Obama was from New England, rather, that there are people in other areas of the country that pronounce it as "KA" rather than "CO".
Bob.

I am from Detroit and I can't name any Tiger, Lions, or Redwings players, now basketball is another story, but I love basketball, so maybe Obama is a basketball fan!

Do they also pronounce "Park" as "Field?"

He's in the booth talking about what a White Sox fan he is. Nice try.

I don't think it's really news that a politician would lie about their support of a local baseball team in an effort to appeal to those people he considers bellow him who might respond favorable to such a thing.

But it never ceases to amaze and concern me how comfortable he is boldly lying right on camera. This is hardly an important or serious example, but another example none the less.
