Ok, this is kind of a 2 part one this time......not only what car does this motor belong to, but what size is the motor........

Well, its an LS1 based engine. No real way to tell the cubic inch. But since you made a big deal about it I'd have to guess its close to a 427.

The car I at first thought was a Lingenfelter twin turbo 427, but its not a corvette.
I'm stumped on the car.

Oh ya, its not operable.

The discharge pipes from the turbo to the intercooler dont have any clamps on them.
The boots will blow off in a heartbeat. LOL

Whatever it is, its got a fabricated firewall. They used a semi polished alluminum cause I can see a reflection of the passenger side exhaust.

It is a 427, but it is not a production model........it is a completly custom engine built by GM......only one of its kind......thus far at least.....oh, and it has 1070HP too..... :Beer

Hmmmmm...Bucketthead's? ahhh.....Bob Hubbard's

Did I guess right! Damn I wish I could recognize cars like you guys!

I'm learning! Give me a few years! I'm like an old rookie with the car thing!

Dang! I thought I had it. Wanted to beat Jibit to the correct answer!! :N
eh, I knew it was an LS1 but after Chris chimed in I knew it was over!

Talk about a sleeper. 1070 HP in that thing will make it SCREAM!!!!!! Those wheels are custom one off billet wheels, made to look like the factory joint. It has a totally corvette drivetrain/suspension on it (drivetrain of course minus the normal vette motor that is). It even has the torque tube with a custom carbon fiber driveshaft. I watched the build on Rides on TLC.......that thing is ON POINT!!!! Leave it to Jay Leno to build a sweet a$$ed ride!

Toronado. Certainly explains the overly forward engine location. Those things are very strange looking in stock form. Nearly a foot behind the intake and almost no room between the fan and radiator.
