Imagine if Texas rebelled against an oppressive federal government and there was another Civil War. This is an awesome book by Tom Kratman. It's called "A State of Disobedience" and it lays out a very realistic (albeit fictional) possible future if the Democrats control all three branches of govt in 2008. The president has an uncanny resemblance to Hillary Clinton.
