I put about 400 miles on my Motorcycle
with a group of people I never met before.

I was asked buy a guy from a Motorcyle Forum I belong
if I'd map out 2 days of riding and fun for his local
riding group.

So I did...

Wow that looks like alot of fun. Any chance of stoping by that place in the first pic when we do the cruise in July? :D

I washed the car, did 4 loads of laundry, vacuumed the downstairs, slept for about 4 hours. Later in the day, I went to Cabelas and had gotten a new TriStar Viper 12g auto loader and a new set of barrel brushes.

Worked....

as in the name workin_ike?

Nuthin' yet; I am looking forward to running a few rounds through the boom stick today. I have a box of clays to burn.

Lets see...
Saturday
-Went up the Harley dealer to look at things I can't afford. Bought a belt buckle.
-I worked....
-Went to Home Depot for some Grade 8 hardware.

Sunday
-Truck Project
Removed the half of the shackle-to-frame bracket that wasn't rusted away.
Sanded and painted the frame in that area.
Replaced the U-Bolts on the rear axle.

Monday
-More Truck Project
Installed new bracket and shackle I bought from Max with the hardware from Home Depot.
-Ate food and whatnot with the family.
-Test drive up the mountain:D

Cool pics mespock, I gotta get me a bike one of these days. I was looking to get a used Harley Road King. I passed on a Police bike at auction for $2200 a while ago and have been kicking my self ever since.

I brought my 70 Chevelle home for the weekend (car is stored at my x-wifes house).
Friday-washed,waxed,cleaned the engine, interior (haven't done that in 3 yrs)and tightened up the front end, fixed some odds and ends.
Did a cruise night in Bellmore.

Sat-cruised all day, stopping by all my old friend houses.
Did a local cruise night in Whitestone at night.
Ran into tons of old friends.
Had a couple of "stoplight races" on the way home, just like the good old days.

Sunday-Cruised around town all day,Hund out at the park ran into more old Buddys, did a cruise night in Mineola.

Had a great time spending some quality time with my Musclecar,1st time in years a put around 100 + miles on it and criused all weekend.
I need to find a garage closer to home so I can do this more often !!!

Sorry for the crappy pixs , but 3 are from my cellphone

i worked on the chevelle and plan to again tomorrow as well. i live a very exciting life.

LoL at least you were working on a car....I went though 6 Gals of stain on a fence from hell....still not done .....have to do the back side. :(

I installed my new LMS MAF, but because of high gas prices spent the weekend driving around in a honda civic. :(

Oh, and I drove an hour and a half to go buy 10 pints of Walkers Deluxe for a buddy of mine that is getting married next weekend. If anyone knows where to buy some fifths, please let me know. They don't make it anymore and it's hard to find around here. Hence, the driving an hour and a half!

I descended into the depths at Carlsbad Caverns and climbed to the top of Texas.

I worked 11 hrs getting paid double time and a half, and enjoyed every second of it

I moved from a 900SF apartment into a 2300SF house. I hate moving but I love my new house. And now I need to mow the grass.
