What kind of Angel Eyes/Halos to get?

I’m about to purchase Angel Eyes/Halos for my Gen 1 LS and after much research I realize it’s not just a decision to purchase but a decision what to purchase. So once again I’m going to refer to people more learned than I. I have ruled out CCFL because I believe they won’t be bright enough, but I don’t want them to be too bright either. My question is for all those who choose to post is for your experiences with SMD, Plasma, and CCFL form Oracle and LightWurkz. If you can would you please post a pic so I can see how they look on your car. I plan on running the wires directly to a power source then through an on/off switch. I’m looking at these two websites:

Ya I was leaning towards those but then in a search here I found posts about Lightwurkz and some others leading me to question my decision. I don't want to make a mistake right off the start of this project. I don't really mess around working on cars much so I want to do it right the first time.

Been in for over a year now and work great. No ballast and they come with a quick connect harness. 2 sets for $80...done

which part? the no ballast (LED's don't need a ballast to run, just the proper reduced voltage) or the quick connect harness?

Its the OD.

The CFL's require a ballast. LEDs dont. The harness needs to be wired in to whatever power source you are using. With the harness, you can easilly disconnect the entire headlight assembly without cutting the wire to the halos. I wired mine to a 12v switched source and a toggle.

Yes, mine is a gen 1. I ordered the 125mm rings. And 80mm for my fogs (I have the round fogs obviously)

Is the 125mm the same for both bright and dims on the gen 1? I have no way to measure until I take them apart, I don't have any extra parts.

Yes they are the same size ring for the high and low beam
