Today I received in the mail a signed title to a 1994 Lincoln Mark VIII.

This title was mailed to me by Scott9050. I haven't paid for the car yet and here I sit now with this title.

Trust Folks it's about trust... No I know there are many who would have never done something like this or think this is totally stupid on Scott's part.

But if we all could be able to work together in a manner where our word would stand upon it's merits, we would all live in a better place.

Scott I know you are no longer with us on this Board but you are one Hell of a person. I'm proud to be your friend.

Oh and the Check is in the Mail - at least it will be on the 30th as we discussed.

Oh and Mike a check will be arriving very soon to pay for gas to bring Mine then Scott's now Mine again Mark VIII home.

Once again another positive attribute to the LvC Membership and trust we have for each other.
 
Torque that's what I feel... To be trusted in this manner is an honor...

I know Scott only from this site and the short time we had when I sold him the a little over a year ago...

Oh and quit trying to hijack my thread. This was about LvC and the quality of it's membership not it's spelling ability, Bryan :)~
 
I can't tell you how many times LVC Members have been there for me, from answering the newbee questions to finding my current MarkViII for me. LVC has been there even when my family thought I was insane for getting a 3rd MarkVIII.

Even beyond automobiles, giving heart felt advice, a shoulder to lean on in hard times and a new family to share good times with.

LVC is not just a website, it's a family.

I'll let you know when I get the check Rich. BTW, the car will be sitting out of the elements till you come to get it.

90 percent of members here are respectful and helpful and will bend over backwards to help other members - it's a true community. It's too bad people don't know what they get when they buy a Mark VIII - It's more than metal and horsepower, they get accepted by a really cool, caring bunch of people.

I'd like to take this opportunity to share the "bending over backwards" (lolol figures I'd hit on that one first huh! lol), and the "really cool caring bunch of people" that LVC is blessed to have in it.

1-My Marks hood would not close...car runs great looks hot I can't go anywhere cause the hood latch won't enter the hoodlock housing...so I log in, start a thread for help..within 10 mins I get a post back...it is difficult to verbally describe what is occurring (or not!) so I send pics. Then we exchange numbers so I can better describe...we both go over pics, then I take cellie out to car and follow directions that LVC HOTTIE is giving...bam! hood locks in, back on the road, of course on my way to a shop to ensure that it will not happen again! HOTTIE on this one was Gibit, our chapter Pres! and I didn't even know it at the time but he was at work!

2-I bought a MarkVIII in Newport Richie, FL...as soon as LVC's HOTTIES caught wind that I would be driving it up..I was PMed a list of LVC contacts the entire route home...just in case.....AAA wont even do that and I pay them!

3-and of course I needed help, not immediate, but some advice on how to continue on...Proceeding home to OH, I stopped at a friends and visited for a few days....Mark sat....Mark sunk...I got P.O.! I called one contacts given to me by LVC (oh I feel soo bad, I think it was Strutmasters, Sorry Rich, Pepp if you remember, chime in PLEASE!), they asked for an assessment of the situation, and advised that it would be fine to drive car home just make sure to fix them when I got home....oh the love does not end there....

4-same said bags were replaced by Gibit at the upcoming meet in Chicago! I wanted to learn how to replace them and he (and I am sure a bottle of vaellume) was willing to take the time to do it and endure teaching me how also!.....think it ends there NOPE!!!! LVC love never stops!!!!! read on...

5-same bags....different problem. I killed my Mark!, some may remember the posts. I was devastated. Once I got over it, LVC HOTTIES advised me to get my goods off him cause the insurance company will rape me! So, LVC HOTTIES fill me in on how to strip!

~~I get the hid housing and ballast's, advice of LVC HOTTIE Mike ;)

~~those bags again!, remember, I learned how to put them on, we poked the old ones to get them off, couldn't do that to these they were new! thanks to LVC HOTTIE 1wykdmk8, (Ray, I will never forget that call!!, you knocked me on my A$$!! lol)

~~the chrome directional rims and spare tire fixin's, Rich was a Happy HOTTIE!and he swapped me and sent me his snowflakes ;) - now this was not easy w/i 8 hours I had to find 4 crap rims, 4 crap tires and swap them out for the 4 on the car (this means finding them, getting them swapping them, all the while doing everything else on this list!)

~~hood shocks, HOTTIE Prezz deserved a little sumpn' sumpn'!

~~the side molding, LVC's BigDaddy of course (Smooches Joey)

The list goes on...pieces of that car are now distributed throughout LVC! lolol and still are being sent, I shot a remote to a HOTTIE last week and I am getting ready to send the ashtray to LVC HOTTIE 94mark8 today ;) more pieces left too!!

The HOT BLACK MARKVIII my booty graces now....
LVC picked it out of course!

Oh I have more, but I have probably exceeded the character limit of a post!

Yes Debi, I remember that, i am glad that i was able to help, i think Rich and i both said to call Eddie Spinks ( american air suspension ) . If i can help anyone at any time all they have to do is send the word. :cool:
