If I did a dyno after tommorow with the mods I have now and the true-dual 2.5" exhaust system, what should my dyno numbers be? around 240rwhp? Or higher? Debating if I want to dyno my car or not

thanks,
scott

211rwhp? If that's the case, there is no way our cars our 280hp stock. My LT1 t/a had 285hp stock and it dynoded at 235rwhp stock, so our cars should be somwhere near there unless something is wrong or Ford overated our cars

T/a was stick or auto?

211RWHP is about right. You lose anywhere from 15 - 25% thru the drivetrain on any car. Auto's are higher generally. So, if we have 280HP at the flywheel and worst case scenario we lose 25% thru the drivetrain we end up with a net of 210RWHP.

And with the T/A your 235RWHP is about an 18% loss thru the drivetrain. So, you were still in the ballbark of nominal loss thru the drivetrain. You also have to figure that your T/A was more based on performance than the Mark VIII is/was.

We also have a slush box for a tranny and an IRS. Lots of drivetrain loss. Numbers are dead on.

Walt put down 260 to the wheels at Carlisle 2 years ago in the most terrible of heat and humidity. This is with all our bolt ons at the time with a stock engine. I believe at the time he did these pulls it was almost 90 and the humidity was well into the high 80% range.
