What up with the traction control?

Flush with the success of learning about fuel pressure, I return with another question...

On two different occasions, the traction control system light has come on.

In both cases, the brakes sounded like marbles in a coffee can with HUGE pulsation in the pedal.

What's up with this?

Brakes sound like an abs issue my Jimmy does that at random times with out me even touching the pedal LOL the tc, just always have it

TC or AdvanceTrac? Were you braking? Were you accelerating briskly? Straight? Around a corner? I've had the TC come on when I hit a spot of oil on the freeway.

Did you happen to be driving on snow with less than acceptable tires when this happened?

No snow in Houston this week... ;-)

Seem to recall clear and dry every time this has happened. Did it again today on a straight takeoff.

The dash light is the AdvanceTrac. I get ABS and TC on start up lamp test.

The reason he asked is because there is a normal tc and the AdvanceTrac.. If you have the later, it's different troubleshooting..
