It's my opinion, based upon decades of watching world events, reading history, and dealing with groups of people, that the majority of folks in the world just don't give a dam. They just want to live their lives, raise their families, and get by. So this can be considered "normal" behavior.
Anyone who has worked in any type of oganization knows of the 80/20 rule, tweny percent of the people do eighty percent of the work. So the 80% are the "normal" ones on the old bell curve.
So, by definition, those who spend an inordinate amout of time projecting their world view upon others are abnormal. They're also, in my opinion, uncomfortable and/or scared of the world not being controlled.
The only effective way to counteract these abnormal people who's beliefs run counter to yours is to empower abnormal people who support your agenda. These people will dedicate their lives, 24/7 to their "destiny".
Alas, our fate is in the hands of crazy, abnormal people because no one else will put out the effort required over the years needed to accomplish anything.
