Inspired by that other thread thats now 3 pages long...

What would it take to be running low 13's to beat those rattle box f-bodies?

LMS POWERMAXX Chip.

This combo was good for 13.44 @ 102.993 with a 1.810 60 ft time on street tires (51 degrees with 37% humidity) add some long tube headers and high flow cats you should be neck and neck with a STOCK LS-1, add a Vortech and the LS-1 is history.

Were going to be having a MAJOR group buy special on long tube headers coming up soon too.

Wanna beat an LS1? When he's not looking, slash his tires :gr_devil:

I almost fainted when I saw that list but then I took a good look at it and it's only a few major components that matters I think. Intake, exhaust, stall, gears+driveshaft ? Then there's the tune up stuff like plugs/wires, t-stat, and fluids...

Oh, and I overlooked the transmission made of gold (for the price they go for anyway)

I am keeping real Jeremi. Whats the seat weigh? 38lbs and the rear practically nothing. Oh and the belt deal, we tested after that many times MAY have been worth a tenth IF that.

that list is to long I mean how much HP does dexcool give you???
or an exta 10Amps from the atlernater?
you do not need to do all that sh it to beat a stock LS1

He put that up there to show exactly what he had to run the numbers he posted. I agree with you, but he was just showing what he had in it. :)

You should have group specials on other items you have too!

There is going to be a big range as far as times go, an auto 2.73 geared 98 convertible T/A is going to be quite a bit slower than a 3.42 geared 6spd 2002 Z-28. You might beat some stock LS-1's, but not all of them running those times. I've seen about an 8 mph spread on stock LS-1 times.

That was a mod list at the time of that run. Why don't you relax and read. Did I ever once say dexcool gave you hp? I have a crank pulley to offset the extra 10 amps too.

We have a group buy Monthly here on LVC. the fuel systems are next and the headers will be after that.

now, is there a way to bypass the ac pully so we can jump another 10-15 hp?

now geno when you say fuel systems you mean fuel pump cause im going need one with the nos

:nos:

Just don't turn it on and will not use any power.
doesnt the pully still get turned even if you dont have it on? cuz if it does, then you are still losing power

I believe there is some sort of a clutch on the a/c pully, i might be wrong

The pulley free wheels on an AC clutch when not used or if the freon is low. Bypassing it would do absolutely nothing.
