I wanted people to see the bazillions of agencies we pay for.
 
I would reduce the pay of anyone in the executive service by 25%.

It is a lot of crap. Even if you work for the government you get taxed to hell.

I was just giving everyone a cheat sheet in case they wanted to play along.
 
General schedule is most of the government. It goes up to $129,517 at the top level GS 15 step 10.

Then theres the executive service which is all the big wigs.

The MINIMUM for them is set at 120 percent of the basic pay for GS-15 Step 1 employees $119,554 and the highest is $179,700.

And yes this would cover every head of department all the way up to the vice president. Only person who is paid higher i believe is the president which has his salary set to 400,000 if i remember correctly.

These people also accrue an insane amount of leave (16 hours per month). I only accrue 4 hours of leave a month.
